Museum het Rembrandthuis

Between 1639 and 1658, the world-famous painter Rembrandt lived and worked in this beautiful monumental building. Based on an inventory list from the seventeenth century, the house was redecorated with furniture, artwork and objects from that era. Imagine yourself in the seventeenth century while visiting his old studio, his living room and the art room full of extraordinary objects. In the modern museum wing, the work of Rembrandt himself, his predecessors, contemporaries and contemporary artists inspired by the Dutch master shines through.
