You enter the Polman House by the back door, just as they did back then, and step back in time to the 1950s. Discover what it was like to live in the years of the Wederopbouw, the reconstruction of the Netherlands that took place following the war. Imagine yourself in the shoes of Annie or Bernard Polman, one of the first families to take up residence on the Noordoostpolder. Visitors are welcome to take a seat in the armchair and listen to Annie’s favourite programme on the radio. Many people find the Polman House is a real nostalgia trip! Step inside and experience something unique.
