In 1901, American couple William and Anna Singer came to artist colony Laren. The villa they had built there became the basis for the later Singer Laren Museum. Here you will see works created during the heyday of Dutch modernism, by such great artists as Jan Sluijters, Charley Toorop, Kees van Dongen, Leo Gestel and Bart van der Leck. In addition to paintings and works on paper, the collection contains a quantity of beautiful sculptures, including seven works by Auguste Rodin.
